About us
TRIBO Engineering, s.r.o. was founded in 2012 in Ostrava and, since our inception, we have specialised in the manufacture and refurbishment of machine components where the service life of functional surfaces, dimensional accuracy and durability under demanding operating conditions are key.
Our main specialism is thermal spraying and related engineering work. We use thermal spray coatings not only for surface protection, but also as a functional layer that offers significantly better resistance to abrasion, erosion, corrosion, cavitation, high temperatures and chemical exposure. In addition to surface treatments, we manufacture machine parts and hydraulic components, and provide training in the fields of tribology and maintenance management.

History and Milestones
2012 – Founding of the company
TRIBO Engineering, s.r.o. was established, specialising in the refurbishment of machine components, engineering supplies and surface treatments.
2013–2016 – expansion of production
Manufacture and refurbishment of rolling mill shafts, conveyor rollers, looping rollers, hydraulic cylinders, plungers, crosspieces and other components for metallurgical and engineering operations.
2016–2020 – ongoing collaboration with strategic customers
Production of components for wire drawing, high-pressure pumps, drawing drums, hubs, pinions and gear wheels. Development of a combination of production, refurbishment and HVOF coatings.
2020–2024 – expansion into international markets
Long-term contracts for customers in the metallurgy, engineering and energy sectors, as well as in the field of bulk material sorting, with a global reach.
2024 and beyond – specialised applications and portfolio development
Applications of plasma ceramic coatings, TWAS anti-seizing coatings and lining coatings, and the development of engineering production using complementary technologies such as laser hardening or laser cladding.
